Not all Black Belts are equal. JLK has proven over many years to have high quality standards, top students and is known to be the BEST!

We teach powerful easy to learn self-defense techniques from various styles of Martial Arts. JLK Black Belts are confident they can defend themselves anywhere, anytime against one or multiple attackers.

We teach Chun Do Kwan Korean Karate, Okinawan Goju Ryu, Judo, Okinawan Kobudo (traditional weapons). Basically, the longer you train, the more you learn. Our Black Belts who have been with us the longest have many years of experience in all facets of martial arts from stand up fighting in close to throws, sweeps, and takedowns. They are capable of ground fighting with choke holds and dominant on the ground positioning that could save their lives. We also train with traditional okinawan weapons such as the bo staff, nunchaku, said, tonfa, and kama. There will always be more to learn, more to gain and more benefits for each persons journey. We have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree black belts that have been with us over 10 years and still learning new things.
